The Hamburg model separates the public assets from the privately managed corporation. This provides HafenCIty Hamburg GmbH latitude and enables it to operate even more as a private corporation.


Louisville, Kentucky

Louisville city is represented by Mayor Greg Fischer, who was voted one of the most innovative mayors in the US by Politico in 2017. Mayor Fischer had led a drive toward digitalization, including donning state-of-the-art city-wide internet. The digitalization has helped Louisville with high-tech and open-data initiatives that have cut costs and improved public health
